A wonderfully aged antique European apothecary canister with the most beautiful timeworn mustard-ochre finish.
Crafted of wood, the tall cylindrical vessel retains its original removable lid and an old paper label, now faded and worn nearly beyond recognition. Years of use have left the surface beautifully mottled and imperfect, giving it the quiet patina we are always searching for in old utilitarian European pieces.
We love these early apothecary and shop vessels displayed as sculptural objects in their own right, but this one is especially beautiful filled with dried garden clippings. We will tuck 3–4 semi-dried Pinky Winky hydrangea stems inside, gathered for you to recreate a bit of the styling shown here.
