A generous gathering of late-season garden hydrangeas, hand-picked from the October garden and allowed to begin drying naturally. Each bouquet includes approximately 10–12 large stems, predominantly in beautiful faded shades of blush and antique pink, mingled with touches of warm brown, parchment cream and softly aged ivory.
These are the hydrangeas I love most—the blooms that have been left in the garden long enough for autumn to work its magic. Their once-bright summer color has deepened and faded naturally, creating the beautifully imperfect tones of an old cottage garden at the end of the season.
The bouquet is finished with a coordinating matte silk pink / white ribbon. As the hydrangeas continue to dry, their colors will soften further, developing an even more muted, timeworn appearance.
